Continue-in-theme – Pompano Beach High

Pompano Beach Middle School’s Information Technology Magnet Program introduces students to both the foundations and future of technology in a hands-on, engaging way. Beginning with an introductory computer course, students build a strong understanding of essential computer concepts while quickly advancing into real-world applications. Through training in programs like Adobe Premiere and other digital tools, students learn how to create, design, and produce their own content. The program shifts students from simply using technology to actively creating with it, building confidence and independence along the way.

Pompano Beach Middle School’s Communication Magnet Program gives students a hands-on introduction to the world of television and broadcast journalism. Through engaging production courses, students learn how to turn ideas into real media projects, from writing scripts to producing polished public service announcements. They explore videography techniques, develop voice-over narration skills, and gain confidence communicating messages clearly and creatively. The program emphasizes both storytelling and technical skills, helping students understand how media influences and informs audiences.
